I started reading it at bedtime...big mistake because I couldn't stop reading until the end.
Tammie's journey is compelling and fascinating., much like the author herself. Her true light shines brightly in this well written book. Highly recommended!

Once I started reading, I only stopped for coffee breaks.
While browsing at my favourite used book store at the register I was pulled towards a very curious and intriguing bookmark. The title "vibrations" and picture caught my attention. With one quick email/phone call I was on my way to meet the author. Her enthusiasm, energy and positive vibes from her I received was also portrayed in her book. Some people don't want to bother about the life beyond this life or don't want to believe, but for those of us that do this book is a must read. I felt like no one listened to me, or understood. This read put me at ease knowing she was strong enough to tell her story and to bypass and overcome the negative forces that hold us back. Once I started reading, I only stopped for coffee breaks but was soon pulled back to the book. I felt I was on her journey with her. This portrays everyday struggles with sensitives, empaths and various other unexplained phenomenon.I'm glad I purchased and read this journey and hope to learn from it.

From the moment I read Tammie's book I was hooked. It was well written and very easy to read. I really enjoyed how she shared her story broken into several chapters. Each one of them were fascinating. The book cover is beautiful and look forward to reading more stories in the near future. I highly recommend this book for those who wish to venture in this world.

Imagine how difficult it would be to explain to a blind person the beauty of a glorious sunset. Without the sense of sight, he would not be able to grasp what you are trying to say. That’s how local author Tammie Whalen Buckler must feel whenever she tries to explain to ordinary people the psychic, clairvoyant and healing abilities she says she has. However, her book, Vibrations: a Psychic Journey, is a remarkably clear account of her lifetime of experiences coming to terms with these unusual abilities; for those of us in the majority who have no understanding of psychic powers, this book is easy and enjoyable to read and is written in a way that allows us to remain skeptical, but at the same time feel that maybe there is some truth in what she says.

The author states that her book can be categorized as non-fiction, memoirs, paranormal. She is a first time author and actually created this book so that her family and friends would have a chance to get to know her better. She spent the better part of her life concealing the ‘witchy woman’ kind of events and is just now really coming out of the closet with this book.

The book is divided into eleven parts, the first few parts written in chronological order. The author describes how she became aware of her special abilities at a very early age and how it took many years for her to understand how to manage them in positive and constructive ways. The second half of the book is divided into special sections in which she details interesting stories about how she could often predict events, use her powers to help people in need, sense a presence in a haunted house, or find a missing person.

This is a very readable and well written book, and is recommended for those who may wish to give paranormal and psychic ideas the benefit of the doubt.
